Vintage 1980s black velvet calf length, button down dress with a V neckline with long sleeves, faceted shiny black butotns and a silky waist sash belt. Made for Country Casuals. The cuffs are quilted satin, which makes me wonder if the original collar was also quilted satin. Along the inside of the collar are press studs where it must have had a detachable collar, which I do not have. You could make use of them to attach your own collar at some point.
Overall though, this is a lovely dress and can be worn with or without the belt, without the belt the cut is straight down so you could also wear it like a duster coat/robe too. With the belt to cinch in the waist it has a very vampy look.

- Dry Clean on label but I machine washed it on a 30 cycle.
